Please join us on Sunday, March 9, at 12:15 p.m., in the Family Life Center to learn more about a Weddington Methodist Church mission partner, The Independence Fund. This inspiring event will feature Clark A. Pennington, Chief Operating Officer of The Independence Fund, a leading veterans’ support organization.
Clark will share the gripping story of how The Independence Fund's Save Our Allies Program helped rescue an Afghan ally—a wartime hero who stood shoulder-to-shoulder with American forces—and continues to support him and his family as they resettle and integrate into a new life of freedom and safety in the U.S., proving that America does not forget its allies. Discover how The Independence Fund makes a difference in the lives of those who have served our nation and learn of ways you can be part of their mission.
