And since we will be one day away from celebrating Mother’s Day, a special welcome to:
· Sheila Crump-Waskow, mother and self-proclaimed Army Brat with a career spanning over 40 years of working in the family services area for both community and Department of Defense Military Family programs.
We will be sharing a hot breakfast together and continuing our mission of building community support around each other -- in support of our veterans and first responders, while also hearing directly from them. Their experiences and skill sets are life lessons we look forward to hearing more about.
And a reminder from our Cornelius Animal Shelter -- they are seeking donations for their upcoming “kitten season.” If you’d like to bring kitten food, cat litter, paper towels, laundry detergent or treats – there is no obligation but they are grateful for any/all support!
