Clean up of Thompson Park on Vietnam Veterans Day.
This event will start with remembering and honoring Vietnam Veterans with speaker Marine Lt. General Frank Panter (Ret) who served as a combat engineer in Vietnam and later obtaining a degree and rising through the ranks to Deputy Commandant of the Marine Corps for Bases and Logistics.
This event is in collaboration with Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation. Official sign up is through their website (for waiver signature)
