VFW Post 9010 will be hosting a family Easter fun day on Saturday, March 30th from 2-4pm. This event is to engage our local community and strengthen ties between the VFW post and our neighbors. There will be an opening ceremony with the presentation of our National Colors and presentation of a Vietnam Veteran Wreath. We will recognize all Veterans in attendance and give special recognition to Vietnam Veterans in attendance. This will be followed by:
NC National Guard, 1452nd HET Company with static military vehicle display
Games with prizes (cake walk, musical chairs, social media popular games)
Guess How Many Candy Jar valued at over $100
Lollipop pull (players will pull lollipop marked with a prize or a one marked with 10 pushups)
Bouncy House
Face painting
Post 9010 Color Guard Weapons display
Communications station
Buddy Poppy and membership table
Egg hunt by age which includes adults
Hotdogs, popcorn, ice cream and drinks
