Join Veterans Bridge Home, local employers, employee resource groups, and community volunteers for a series of impactful projects supporting the Charlotte area. Our activities vary monthly, addressing different community needs:
- Types of Projects: Park beautification, Cedar Grove Cemetery upkeep, Roof Above (Operation Sandwich).
- Locations: Activities take place at Camp Greene, Freedom Park, Veterans Park, Latta Park, Cedar Grove Cemetery, and VBH HQ.
- Activities: Include watershed projects, stream cleanups, debris collection, mulching, cemetery maintenance, and headstone care.
- Attire: Depends on the project.
- Timing: Events typically run from 8 AM to 12:30 PM.

- September 11: Freedom Park - Day of Service, Remembrance, and Connectivity with USAA and area ERGs. Register here.

- Dec 11: Operation Save Cedar Grove Cemetery
- December 13: Cedar Grove Cemetery (Date based on Wreaths Across America's schedule)
Dates/Locations subject to change based on the needs of our veteran community. Advanced communications will be provided if a changed is needed.
Special Projects:
- Operation Sandwich: Employers cover costs (~$10 per lunch bag) for making bagged lunches in multiples of 100 for area shelters.
- Customized Volunteering: If scheduled days don't suit, we can arrange off-cycle events, organizations making this request will be asked to cover administrative/planning/logistics costs incurred by VBH.
