Want to help military veterans—and have fun while you’re at it? Then lace up your running shoes to join Fairview Plaza and American Asset Corporation for the Seventh Annual HeroRun to benefit Veterans Bridge Home!
Two races will kick off at 8 a.m., November 1, 2025, at Fairview Plaza office buildings, with a 5k taking you through scenic South Park neighborhoods and a 1k Fun Run keeping you close to Fairview Road. Music, activities, and real heroes, members of all five branches of the U.S. military, will make for a fun, special event.
In total, we will need 22 volunteers on race day.
They will be arriving between 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM.
Critical course monitor needs and locations are already set and will be assigned to the volunteers’ race morning. Registration & Packet Pick-up 4-6 volunteers Registration & packet pick-up volunteers should arrive at the Packet Pick-up tent at 6:00 AM. They should be finished at approximately 8:00 AM.
Water Stop #1 4- 6 volunteers Water stop Location: Severn Avenue, near mile 1.5 on the course. Water stop volunteers should arrive at 6:45 AM. Volunteers will report to the Expo then drive to the water stop and text the volunteer coordinator upon arrival. Water stop equipment will be dropped at the assigned location.
Course Monitors 15 volunteers Course monitor volunteers should report to the Packet Pick-up tent at 7:00 AM. They should finish approximately between 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM depending on where they’re stationed. (This amount may change depending on where CMPD will station officers on the course) Critical Course Monitors: 12
