Fall is here, and October brings powerful opportunities for awareness and action.
This month, we recognize both Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month — two causes that deeply impact our community and call us to stand together.
As part of these observances, Veterans Bridge Home is honored to host Ms. Amy Oxendine, LCSW, Coordinator of the Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program (IPVAP-C) at our local VA. Amy will lead a special presentation on the IPVAP, sharing vital resources, support options, and ways we can unite against domestic violence.
In support of this month’s awareness efforts, we invite all attendees to wear pink or purple to the session.
