2nd Harvest Food Bank | Veterans Bridge Home

Veterans Bridge Home is kicking off our monthly Veterans Volunteer series January 24th at 2nd Harvest Food Bank.

If you are a Veteran or a current member of a military employee resource group (ERG) or military affinity group (MAG) at your place of work, we'd love to see you!  Read the volunteer details below and RSVP!

Event Description:

Volunteers age 17 and over, will inspect, sort & pack donated products so that we can distribute to our 700 partner agencies including homeless shelters, emergency pantries and soup kitchens.  Complete project instructions will be given at the start of the shift.  Some bending and light lifting is necessary. 

OSHA regulations require all volunteers to wear closed-toe shoes to participate. No Sandals or Flip-Flops are permitted. 

The shift will close 30 minutes after start time and if you arrive after, you will not be able to participate.
