Plan on being there all day; workshops/ 9-11 ceremony/ VERG/jobseeker networking reception. Box lunches and parking provided!!!

Stay for the Veteran Resource / Jobseeker reception at Springfield Marriott

Come looking sharp – clean shaved, well kept, well nourished. No military uniform items. Dress in line with your industry!!

Bring a few resumes, a thumb drive with resume

Bring a small book/pen to take notes of who you meet & discussion points to use follow up post event

Follow up within 2 days post event – Thank you, your interest and ask for next steps

Create a “draft” email prior to event and upload your resume. Then FWD to HR/TA folks on the spot to their email from you’re phone. Then it will be readily available in your sent folder on phone.

Take a break, breather, in between conversations; collect your thoughts; take copious notes and have a strategy going forward.
