Veterans Bridge Home is partnering with Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation for our annual spring beautification project during "Creek Week". Volunteers will be asked to help clean up/beautify not only Thompson Park, but a portion of the adjacent Little Sugar Creek Greenway. If you have waterproof boots, please bring. If not, Mecklenburg County will supply. We'll need at least 15-20 volunteers to clean the creek and the rest will beautify Thompson Park.
The project will take place at at Thompson Park/Little Sugar Creek Greenway on Wednesday March 25th from 9am to Noon.
Thompson Park is located at 1129 East 3rd Street in Charlotte, NC (just east of uptown)
