Veterans Park Fitness Court Installation

Expired

Description

Event Information

The Carolina Panthers and Lowe’s, in partnership with Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation and Veterans Bridge Home, held a ceremonial groundbreaking in November 2019 as part of the NFL’s Salute to Service initiative to launch a unique fitness project designed to honor veterans and provide a new-style fitness resource for the community. On July 14-16, the partners will assemble to construct a new Fitness Court at Veterans Park in Charlotte’s Plaza-Midwood neighborhood. The Fitness Court is a first-of-its-kind in Charlotte “outdoor gym” consisting of dynamic fitness stations which will provide a large variety of workout options for veterans, as well as the broader community. The installation is designed to give veterans a unique gathering space to share fun, fellowship and fitness.
