The Lower Pee Dee Veterans Engagement Council (LPDVEC) comes together monthly out of a shared desire to help local veterans thrive in their communities. While we are separate organizations, our common goal is to help one another take care of our veterans through the sharing of challenges, best practices, and successes.
Veterans represent an opportunity to keep South Carolina a great place to live for all its citizens. Thriving veterans and their families give back to their communities by volunteering, voting, participating in local government, and donating more to charities than those who didn’t serve. But our communities cannot reap the benefits from these veterans unless we help them find careers, affordable housing, and social connections.
